Prologue
“Attack! Keep on attacking! Our reinforcements will arrive very soon!” shouted Saleyro,
“Taking this main outpost will weaken their force! Hurry!”
It was a terrible war zone, blood splattering, people dying.
I see, people handling swords, handguns, and cannons on the top of the hill.
Why are we fighting this fight? Why do people have the courage to fight this war?
I was with the Thirty Third Army leader, Saleyro. I looked at him, behind him…
“Saleyro! Behind you!” I shouted out as I saw some one attacking from behind.
I think he heard me, or did he hear me? If he really did hear me, why didn’t he move?
Chapter One “Dream”
Two years before the War Year…
One night I woke up, screaming. There was a storm going on.
“Ahhhhhh!!” I screamed, waking up from a nightmare I just had.
“What happened?” as Dai, my mother, came into the room to comfort me.
“You had a nightmare again, right?” said mother as she holds me with her arms.
It was a dream, a dream I had for a long time since I was…I don’t really know.
This dream has been kept on for quite a while now.
In the dream, I saw people armed with long swords walking through the woods, a shout calling out, “Fire!” and the sound of cannons firing.
Then I see a place covered with fire, everything burning, and everyone dying…
Then suddenly, I appeared at the old ruin of Mosali Island.
I ran towards stone guardian; the guardian moved and smashed me with his heavy sword.
Every time, I end up waking up before the sword hits me, but why?
Why do I have this dream? Waking up with screaming and sweating.
“I think that you should go to the ruin” said my mother, “if that is where you ended up in the dream, you should just go to where you ended.”
I looked at my mother’s eyes, seeing that she is serious about the dream, “Why?” I asked.
“Sometimes, we should follow to where our dreams guide us; dreams are also a guide in life. Your dream is somehow telling you something,
so maybe you should go to the ruin to seek for the answer.” Then she stood up, “Sleep now, you will have a trip to walk tomorrow.”
I looked at the ceiling as my mother walked away, “A trip to do huh? I will be seeking for the answer of why there.” Then I turned over,
facing the window and looked at the storming black sky; giving me a feeling of something will happen tomorrow.
