風之彩?是不是一部動畫卡通叫做"風中奇緣"有關係啊?

在迪士尼幾十年以來的卡通長片經典中，《風中奇緣》可以說是非常特別的一部，因為這是在所有以“人”為主角的迪士尼卡通裏面，頭一次讓“有色人種”當主角，而且也不是以“皆大歡喜”作為故事的結局。而儘管我對這個故事已經十分熟悉，但是每次重新觀賞、特別是在聽到片中著名的插曲“Colors of the Wind”的時候，都仍然難免有許多感慨。

迪士尼的卡通往往製作得老少鹹宜，因為他們在講述一個簡單的卡通故事的同時，還試圖讓觀眾體會到一些畫面外的真意。如你我這樣的成年人，也能從中看出樂趣，看出生活、生命的真諦。《風中奇緣》就是這麼一部精彩的故事。

一貫的迪士尼傳統，影片中的音樂成分是很重的，也很精緻，迪士尼公司再度請得艾倫.曼肯(Alan Menken)出馬，他為《小美人魚》(Little Mermaid, The)，《美女與野獸》(Beauty And The Beast)，《阿拉丁》(Aladdin)創造了浪漫音樂的奇跡，也為自己贏得六座奧斯卡獎，六座格林美獎及十一座金球獎。這次為《風中奇緣》(Pocahontas)配樂，更絲毫不減大師功力。填詞由兩獲格林美的獎斯蒂芬.舒瓦茲(Stephen Schwartz)操刀。主唱則請來範妮莎.威廉姆斯(Vanessa Williams)，使片中那種深沉的感傷、卻又自由新生的浪漫氣氛展露無遺。風之彩(Colors Of The Wind)也因此獲得了第六十八屆奧斯卡最佳電影歌曲。


在風之彩(Colors Of The Wind)這首歌曲中，那個印第安公主Pocahontas對奉命隨同總督前來新大陸尋找黃金的英國船長John Smith說，你們自以為擁有任何你們所踏上的土地，大地只是讓你們予取予求、沒有生命的東西，但是我知道每塊石頭、每棵樹和每一種動物，都有生命、有靈魂、也有自己的名字。你們以為世間只有長相跟想法都跟你們一樣的人才能算人，但是如果你能夠認識一下“陌生人”的想法，你將會學習到許多你從來不知道的事情。你可曾聽過野狼對明月的嚎叫？或者是問過山貓它為何帶著笑？你能不能跟山裏所有的聲音一起歌唱？能不能用風所有的色彩來作畫？

來吧，跟我一起在隱藏松林間的小徑奔跑，嘗嘗大地甜美的果實。來吧，在你四周豐腴的大地打滾，就這麽一次，不要去想那些東西值多少錢。風雨和河流是我的兄弟，蒼鷺和水獺是我的好友，我們彼此緊密相連，就如同一個永遠沒有缺囗的圓圈。

一棵楓樹能夠長到多高？如果你把它砍倒，你就永遠無法知道。而你也永遠無法聽到月下的狼嚎，因為不論我們的膚色是白的還是古銅色的，我們都需要跟山裏所有的聲音一起歌唱，用風所有色彩來作畫。即使你們可以擁有這片大地，但你們唯一能夠擁有的也只有泥土，除非你能夠學會用風所有的色彩來作畫。


這首歌的歌詞雖然很簡單，意義卻是非常深遠的。而故事裏白人和印第安人的關係，以及歌曲裏人類和大自然的關係，都值得我們去深思。我們的家園現在面臨的不也正是這樣的情況嗎？為了經濟的發展，樹林砍掉了；草原破壞了；河流不在清澈；安靜的生活也一去不返。我們小的時候能去山上爬樹、水裏撈魚，而如今的孩子只能住在鋼筋水泥的“樹林”裏玩著電腦遊戲。當你摒棄了以自我為中心的態度，當你放開心胸愛我們身邊的自然，相信你能體會到風的色彩。
